MainOne, a leading provider of wholesale and enterprise connectivity and data center services across West Africa, has announced that its Graduate Trainee Program is now open to applicants from Nigeria.

The program is divided into two tracks: the Customer Experience Intern track and the Technical track. The former requires a first degree from a reputable higher institution and at least one year of work experience in a similar role. Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, IT skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. They should also be detail-oriented and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.

The Technical track requires candidates to have a minimum of a second-class upper qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering. They must have completed the mandatory one-year NYSC program and should have 0-3 years post-NYSC work experience. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, and/or a relevant post-graduate degree would be an advantage.

In addition to these requirements, MainOne is also looking for candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creative-thinking ability, strong planning and organization skills, team-working and collaboration skills, and a willingness to learn new skills.

Successful applicants will receive a monthly salary and allowance, although the deadline for applications has not yet been specified.

MainOne is partnering with major global technology companies and regional telecom providers to service its customers, and it continues to grow its footprint with new data centers, major network interconnection facilities, extensive terrestrial fiber buildouts, regional points of presence, and delivery of services into 10 countries in West Africa.
