A former Governor of Oyo State, Rashidi Ladoja, hosted three serving governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress on Sunday.
The meeting, which lasted about two hours, was held at Ladoja’s residence in Ibadan.

At present, PDP is facing a crisis over the control of the party structures in Oyo and other states, including at the national level.
Recently, seven members of the PDP National Executive Council resigned from the party.
The seven national officers of the party who resigned included the Deputy National Financial Secretary, the Deputy Legal Adviser, the Deputy National Auditor, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary, the Deputy Women Leader, and the Deputy Organising Secretary.
Also, one of the Board of Trustees members, Bode George, said he almost resigned from the party recently.
The governor of Cross Rivers, Ben Ayade, and that of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, dumped the PDP in late May and June respectively.
Ladoja of Zenith Labour Party was the leader of the coalition, which supported Governor Seyi Makinde in 2019 to win the election for the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

“They want him to join APC,” an aide to one of the politicians said.
The governors who met with Ladoja were Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, and Mai Buni of Yobe.
Others said to be at the meeting were former Speaker, House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, AbdulFatai Buhari, Oloye Sharafadeen Alli, and Bimbo Adepoju.
The coalition brought together the African Democratic Congress, Zenith Labour Party; Social Democratic Party; faction of Action Democratic Party, and a faction of Alliance of Democracy.
