The Naira, Monday, depreciated to N362.20 in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window even as the volume of dollars traded rose marginally by 93 percent.
Data from FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the window rose to N362.20 per dollar Monday from N362 per dollar Lat week Friday, indicating 20 kobo depreciation of the naira.
The volume of dollars traded in the window Monday, however, rose by 93 percent to $498.13 million from $258.28 million Last week Friday. On the other hand, the naira Monday was stable at N359 per dollar in the parallel market.
