The former vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Peter Obi, three serving governors of the party and other stakeholders kicked off the party’s electronic membership registration exercise in Awka, on Tuesday.

Led by the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, the party leaders assured victory for the party’s candidate in the November 6, Anambra State Governorship election, Valentine Ozigbo and his running mate, Mrs. Azuka Enemo.

They enjoined the electorate in the state to obtain their voter’s cards as they prepare for the election.

Obaseki, who is the Chairman of the PDP membership e-Registration Committee, said the party chose Anambra State to launch the exercise because of the November 6 gubernatorial poll.

Also, Obi announced that the PDP would give awards to wards that could register up to 100 members in a month, even as he assured that the November poll would be won by the party.
