University of Glasgow Offers Leadership Scholarships for International Students.

The University of Glasgow has announced the availability of Leadership Scholarships for international and EU (non-UK) students who will be starting a postgraduate taught Masters program in any discipline for the Academic Session 2023-24. These scholarships, awarded as a tuition fees discount, aim to support outstanding students and provide them with the opportunity to pursue their higher education goals in the United Kingdom.

The University of Glasgow’s Leadership Scholarships offer a reward of £10,000 to successful applicants. The scholarships are open to students from all countries, providing a chance for talented individuals around the world to benefit from this financial assistance. The deadline for applications is July 31, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Leadership Scholarships, applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours. They should hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught program starting in September 2023 and have International or EU (non-UK) fee status.

Scholarship Duration and Rewards:

The scholarship period will run from September 2023 to September 2024 for the September intake. Recipients of the scholarship will receive a full tuition fee waiver for the academic year, as well as a stipend of £10,000, which will be paid over 12 months to support living expenses and other related costs.

Applicants who already hold offers of admission to the University of Glasgow will be automatically assessed for the Leadership Scholarships based on their academic merit. Within six weeks of receiving an offer, those being considered for the scholarship will be notified of their application status. There is no separate application form required, streamlining the process for prospective students.
