Bentley Experience Record Sales, To Begin Production of Electric Cars by 2030.

Bentley Motors Limited is a British manufacturer and marketer of luxury cars and SUVs, and a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group.

Volkswagen AG  revealed that bentley experienced a record breaking 2021, as sale increased by 31% in worldwide sales due to robust demand for exotic vehicles

Bentley further revealed that sales rose to 14,659 units from 11,206 in 2020, which was also a record breaking year despite the coronavirus outbreak.

Notably, the sales of luxury vehicles has grown rapidly in the global market with elite class individuals possessing higher disposable income in economies like China, United States of America (USA) and Germany.

Bentley also disclosed that sales in in geographical regions improved, particularly in china where sales rose 40% and 39% in the USA (60% of total sales) .

Adrian Hallmark, Chief Executive of Bentley stated that “2021 was yet another year of unpredictability, though I am delighted to be able to confirm that we overcame significant headwinds, and deliver a breakthrough in our sales performance,”

Meanwhile, Bentley plans to build first electic car by 2025 and go full electric by 2030. According to Reuters, Luxury  carmaker Bentley is to start production of its first fully-electric car in 2025 and has committed to investing 2.5 billion pounds ($3.4 billion) in sustainability over the next decade.

The bargaining price of a Bentayga luxury SUV ( bentleys to selling model) is around 150,000 pounds ($203,000) per car.
