Dangote Cement Plc’s annual profit increased by 21% in 2022.

Dangote Cement Plc has announced audited results for the financial year ended December 31, 2022, with its revenue increasing by 21% to N12.0 billion from N9.9 billion in 2021.

This information was disclosed in its financial statement as of December 31, 2002.

The net profit also increased by 6% to N4.3 billion from the N3.8 billion recorded in 2021. The company’s earnings per share also increased by 6%, to N23.87 billion from the N22.44 billion recorded in the previous year.

EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization) increased by N658.774,000 in 2022 from N610.196,000 million recorded in 2021.

EBITDA margin increased by 7.4% to N658.774 million from N610.196 million in 2021. Profit before tax (PBT) grew by 1.9 percent to N544 million from N534 million in 2021.

Its earnings per share (EPS) rose to N22.87 kobo from N22.42 kobo the previous year. Capital expenditure (Capex) rose by 21.6 percent to N51.01 million from the N39.98 million recorded in 2021.

Dangote Clement PLC proposed a final dividend of N0.50 per share, which brings the total dividend for the year to N20.00 kobo per share. The total unclaimed dividends outstanding as of 2022 is N4.4 billion.
