This is coming after the satellite television provider revised its pricelist in 2021, where the DSTV Compact Plus package costs N12,400, the premium package costs N18,400, the compact package costs 7,900 and the confam package costs N4,615 per month.

Some of the responses from the customers read, “They’ll have to operate n diesel-powered generators. Price of diesel has just risen from N235/ltr to N800/ltr, so how do you expect them to sun afloat if not increase their charges.”

Some others were unhappy by the decision and stated that. “National Grid collapsed, and you’re still having guts to increase the subscription.”
